I’m participating in UNM2PNM
I just want to give a shout out and say thank you to “Joseph Jaffe”:http://www.getthejuice.com of “Jaffe Juice”:http://www.jaffejuice who has sent me a copy of his book all the way from Connecticut, US. (He’s the guy that created the “Tiger Woods ‘Just did it’ ad”:http://www.jaffejuice.com/2005/04/tiger_did_it_ak.html.) The postage cost him about half the price of the book, so I’m really grateful that he spent the money to send it to me, a complete stranger to him and not even an influential blogger.
It’s all part of his “Use New Media To Prove New Media”:http://www.jaffejuice.com/2005/11/a_challenge_to_.html (UNM2PNM) challenge, where Joe has promised a free copy of his book to any blogger who agrees to review the book. Besides putting his money where his mouth is to see how effective ‘new marketing’ can be in promoting his book, I think it’s also a very cool experiment to gauge the advertising and promotional power of blogs. Joe will continually update us with the progress of this experiment as he goes along. He’s already given out 100 copies of his book and won’t send out more unless he gets sponsors.
